Description
SLIP 2000 GPL is a special formulated 100% synthetic base liquid lubricant and metal conditioner.

Designed for use as an additive to traditional petroleum based lubricants or as a stand alone lubricant for extreme conditions. This product was formulated without the use of conventional mineral oil or petroleum distillates. It also combines two essential functions in a single product, specifically, lubrication, and preservation.

This synthetic material was built from the same base as our Slip 2000 Industrial Lubricant and enhanced with additional EP additives to meet with extreme physical property requirements. Being a functional lubricating film from -80° F to +1200° F it is non-solvent, essentially non-toxic, biodegradable and has excellent corrosion protection and penetrating capabilities.

SLIP 2000 GPL does not separate, become sticky or dry out and leave any tacky residue behind.

SLIP 2000 GPL contains no PTFE (Teflon), Silicon or zone depleting compounds and meets California Clean Air Act for VOC requirements.

Lubrication
SLIP 2000 GPL has incorporated advanced technology additives to enhance film strength and anti-wear properties. Penetrating the pores and bonding its self to the surface of the metal through physical absorption reducing surface tension thereby reducing friction between moving parts and minimizing wear reducing the build-up of wear-related debris. This product will not attract dust or dirt particles like petroleum distillate or mineral oil based products will.

Advantages
SLIP 2000 GPL provides additional protection through additives that in addition to their ability to penetrate between metal surfaces, aid in the effective removal of built up dirt, corrosion particles and other foreign residues that can buildup and become abrasive to all mechanical mechanisms. With continued use of SLIP 2000 GPL users will find that there will be a reduction of amperage draw on electric motor driven apparatus such as screw drives, hydraulic presses, air compressors, air tools and much more. By reducing friction on metal to metal parts, equipment runs cooler and lasts longer.

Corrosion Protection
After lubrication with SLIP 2000 GPL a micro thin-film of our enhanced preservative immediately penetrates and bonds itself and forms a barrier film on the surface that displaces water and provides a corrosion resistant barrier against rust and dirt. It is designed to give protection against hydrogen sulfide (H2S), mild mineral acids, carbon dioxide (CO2), saltwater and brackish environments, musky water, chlorine and similar adverse environments. SLIP 2000 GPL passed the Salt Spray Corrosion (ASTM B-117) 150 Hour test.

Applications
SLIP 2000 GPL is formulated to meet the complete additive requirements of lubricating, and corrosion protection. For use on all metal surfaces that require lubrication and protection against the elements. Works extremely well on firearms, both automatic and semi-automatic, chains, cables, screw drives, hinges and slide plates or on any metal to metal applications that need extreme lubrication. May also be used on metal working lathes, drill presses, pipe cutting and threading applications also as a lathe coolant.
